A professional actor for over 30 years Simon has been in demand in theatre all over the world. At the Young Vic in London, he played Ernst Robel in 'Spring Awakening', At the Chichester Festival Theatre he was 'Gabby' in 'Follow the Star'. Othello, Ophelia and Hamlet in 'The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged)' and Roy in 'Neville's Island' were just four of the roles taken to Cairo and Bucharest whilst the Reverand Arthur Humphreys was played at the English Theatre in Vienna. Working for the director Clive Barker he was the Butterball Cenobite in the first two Hellraiser films and created the role of Ohnaka in the holocaust film 'Nightbreed', alongside David Cronenberg. More recently he worked with Jonas Armstrong as Derek in 'The Book of Blood' for Matador Pictures. He recently finished filming 'Dead of the Nite' with Tony Todd, and is due to start filming 'The 4th Reich' in the Ukraine during 2013. On television, he can be seen in the SKY TV 'Better Effect' commercials. In 2000, he won the 'Actor of the Year' award for his portrayal of Pip in 'Great Expectations' at the Vassa Theatre in Stockholm, and has also designed and directed several international tours including 'The Big Day' in Sofia, Qatar and Dubai as well as Educating Rita in Kuala Lumpur. In 2004 he took a production of 'Shirley Valentine' to Karachi to help raise money for a new school.
